In bedrooms and book clubs, on mommy blogs and best-seller lists, it’s all about the blindfold, the billionaire and the “red room of pain.” In the USA, 20 million copies have been sold, and the 1,594-page trilogy has held the top three spots on USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list for nine weeks.
