Cosmopolitan® recently posted their list of best songs to which to work out. As I am trying to lose some 20 pounds (what women isn’t?), then I thought I would check it out. This is what Cosmo suggested:

I walk around App State and the Boone general area with my iPod all the time, especially if my destination is at least a mile away. I am a huge techno/dance freak, mostly because several of the songs are fast in tempo. You probably have not heard of some of these bands before, but this is what I like:
Daft Punk
Jamiroquai
Digitalism
Justice
TEPR
Adam Ant (especially “Goody Two Shoes”)
Maroon 5
Michael Jackson
Aerosmith
Boston
Electric Light Orchestra
Pink Floyd
.38 Special
Journey
Dance Dance Revolution soundtracks
“Living on a Prayer” is a great work-out song hoice, by the way.
I cannot imagine you as needing to lose weight, but the concept of the “freshman 15″ is more than an urban myth.
Actually, I knew of many of these groups/songs. Some days on my iPod I use really upbeat music. On other days, I bring it down a “notch.” I have been known to repeat the same song dozens of times if it keeps me motivated when I am exercising.
Well, I don’t really need to lose weight too much. I just really like walking and Boone in the fall is amazing.
